Definitions
- Renter: Any individual or entity entering into a rental agreement with Economy Rentals.
- Rental Item: The vehicle, equipment, or property being rented.
- Rental Agreement: The signed document detailing the rental period, fees, and conditions.
Eligibility
To rent from Economy Rentals, you must:
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Possess a valid government-issued ID or driver’s license.
- Provide valid payment and contact information.
- Agree to all terms outlined in this document and the rental agreement.
Reservation and Payment
- Reservations may be made online, by phone, or in person.
- A valid credit/debit card is required to confirm a booking.
- Full payment or a deposit may be required at the time of reservation.
- All prices are quoted in US Dollars and are subject to change without notice.
Promotions and Coupons
- Coupons and promotional codes cannot be applied to items or services already discounted or on sale.
- Coupons are valid for online purchases only and cannot be redeemed for in-person or phone transactions.
- Coupons may have expiration dates, minimum purchase requirements, or one-use-per-customer limits.
- We reserve the right to refuse, modify, or cancel any coupon usage that violates these terms, at our sole discretion.
Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the rental start time to receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the rental may be subject to a cancellation fee.
- No-shows are not eligible for refunds.
Use of Rental Items
The Renter agrees to:
- Use the rental item for lawful and intended purposes only.
- Not sublease, sell, or transfer the item to another party.
- Return the rental item in the same condition it was received, subject to normal wear and tear.
- Follow all local, state, and federal laws during use.
- Rental Duration and Returns
- Rental duration is defined in the rental agreement.
- Late returns may incur additional fees as outlined in the agreement.
- Early returns do not qualify for a refund unless stated otherwise.
Condition and Inspection
- Rental items are inspected before and after each rental.
- The Renter is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the rental item during the rental period.
- A damage deposit may be collected and refunded upon satisfactory return of the item.
Insurance and Liability
- The Renter is responsible for any damage or loss not covered by insurance.
- Economy Rentals is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from improper use of rental items.
- For vehicle rentals, the Renter must carry valid liability and/or comprehensive insurance (if required by law or company policy).
Maintenance and Repairs
- Do not attempt to repair the item yourself unless authorized by Economy Rentals.
- Report any issues or malfunctions immediately.
- Unauthorized repairs may result in additional charges.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate a rental agreement without notice if:
- The Renter violates any terms or uses the item unlawfully.
- The item is at risk of damage or misuse.
- The Renter provides false information at the time of booking.
Force Majeure
Economy Rentals is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or government restrictions.
Privacy
We collect and use personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By renting from us, you consent to such data collection and usage.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website or provided to you directly. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
